Mabie Todd & Co Ltd prided themselves on producing
quality pens which write very smoothly. The gold clip
has the engraving of: "SWAN". Trim is
rolled gold. The top of the cap
has the SWAN logo and it is designed to be bandless
around the cap mouth. The barrel is engraved with:
"SWAN LEVERLESS PEN, PAT No. 390585/32, Mabie Todd & Co
Ltd, Made in England" and alongside is the Swan logo.
Ink filling is by the twist filler at the end of the
barrel. Trim is rolled gold. The 'medium' nib is engraved with: "SWAN, 2, 14ct, Mabie
Todd & Co Ltd, Made
in England ". Solid gold 14 carat medium nib. Smooth
and glossy body. Condition: Near mint.
