ONWARD Fountain Pen

It is always a pleasure to restore a superb fountain pen and this is such a one. It has the charateristics of a Parker Parkette De Luxe. Two white
bands surround the top of the cap and at the other end
of the barrel. The gold clip has the wording: "ONWARD"
and the cap has one gold band. Both the cap and
the barrel are fluted (10 sides). The stainless steel
nib writes with a 'medium' line. Ink filling is
by the gold lever on the barrel. The history of the
ONWARD make is unclear but the pen is so much like the
Parker Parkette De Luxe that I would be inclined to
believe that it was made by Parker ie for another
company.
