PARKER DUOFOLD Fountain Pen Circa 1948.   Colour: Dark brown.   Nib: 'Broad'. Parker introduced this 'new' shape Duofold after the 2nd World War. The pen is fitted with the famous arrow clip. The cap is decorated with one Art-Deco broad gold band. Very smooth and glossy body. Barrel is engraved with: "Geo S Parker, PARKER DUOFOLD, Reg TM".  The nib reads: "PARKER, 14K, ENGLAND, 35 9".  The nib is 14 carat gold and writes with a broad line. Ink filling is by the button beneath the blind cap on the barrel. Trim is gold filled. Condition is excellent. An outstanding pen and marvellously smooth writer. Length: 5 1/4" - 6 1/4".
