Parker introduced the streamlined
Duofold in 1929 – a stunningly handsome and rare
fountain pen. The washer clip has "PARKER" engraved on
it and the cap has the twin medium gold bands. Trim is
gold filled. The imprint on barrel reads: "Geo S
Parker, PARKER DUOFOLD, Made in Canada”. Ink filling
is by the button filler beneath the blind cap on the
barrel. The original nib reads: "PARKER, DUOFOLD, PEN,
CANADA". Solid gold 14 carat 'fine' nib. Supreme
writer with a superb nib. Condition is
excellent. Length: 5 1/4" - 6 1/2"
Seventy one
years old and the nib still gently glides across the
paper.
