CONWAY STEWART 'EXECUTIVE 60' Fountain Pen
Circa 1951. Colour: Green with black lines. Nib: 'Medium'.
Top of the range Executive 60 brought
out to appeal to the fashionable and high-status of the
Conway Stewart clientele. The gold clip is held in
place by the silver screw stud - this combination was
exclusive to the top of the range pens. A broad gold
band adorns the cap. Trim is rolled gold. The engraving
on the barrel reads: "Conway Stewart, EXECUTIVE 60".
And around the barrel is: "Made in England". Ink
filling is by the gold lever on the barrel. The top
of-the-range nib is engraved with: "DURO, Conway
Stewart, 14ct GOLD, MANIFOLD". Solid gold 14 carat
'medium' nib. The DURO nib, only made for the
top-of-the-range pens, ensures smooth writing.
Condition is excellent. Length: 5 1/8" - 6 1/8"
