CONWAY STEWART 466M ( Rose & Co, Southampton )

Circa 1928. Colour: Red Ripple. Nib: 'Medium'.
A marvellous example of a
rare Conway Stewart Red Ripple. Conway Stewart made
pens for other companies such as Rose & Co who were
engravers, printers and fancy goods dealers in 1920's
Southampton.
The impressive gold 'clutch' clip is
engraved: "MERCANTILE, Made in Canada, Pat 1911". The
large paddle gold lever on the barrel is engraved with:"CS"
the Conway Stewart logo. The engraving on the barrel reads:
"THE 'ROSE' LEVER FILLER, Rose & Co Southampton, No. 466M,
Made in England". Trim is rolled gold. The nib
is engraved with: "Conway Stewart, 14ct GOLD". Solid gold 14 carat
medium nib. Wonderful pen full of distinction and
presence. Condition: Excellent.
