PARKER PARKETTE DE LUXE Fountain Pen  Circa 1937. Colour: Burgundy marbled. Nib: 'Fine' This a very exceptional 'Standard Size' Parkette, in really excellent condition.  The gold clip is held by mounting ears and is ball-ended. The cap and barrel are both fluted which is an unusual feature for Parker.  Three gold bands decorate the cap.   The clear barrel imprint reads: "PARKETTE DE LUXE, Made in Canada".  The nib reads: "PARKER, 14K, England, 20 9".  The nib is 14 carat gold and writes with a 'fine' line.   Ink filling is by the gold lever on the barrel. Trim is gold filled.  Condition is excellent.  Writes exceptionally.   Length: 5" - 6 1/8".
