PARKER DUOFOLD Maxima Fountain Pen Circa: 1952  Colour: Executive black   Nib: 'Fine' to 'Medium'. Parker introduced the new aerometric filler ( see further photos ) during the late 1940's. The pen is fitted with the famous arrow clip. The cap is decorated with one Art-Deco broad gold band. Very smooth and glossy body. The nib reads: "PARKER, 14K, ENGLAND, N". The nib is 14 carat gold and writes with a 'fine' to 'medium' line. Ink filling is by the aerometric filler beneath the barrel. Trim is gold filled. Condition is excellent. An outstanding pen and marvellously smooth writer. Length: 5 1/8" - 5 3/4".
