The Croxley pen, sprung from the stationary business of John
Dickinson, made quality products which are comparable with Conway
Stewart and Mabie Todd. It is similar in shape to the Sheaffer pens
of the USA. The gold clip has an arched back and one decorative gold
band is around the cap mouth. The very clear barrel imprint reads:
"THE CROXLEY PEN, Made in Gt Britain". The nib is engraved with: "A
DICKINSON PRODUCT, 14ct GOLD". The 14 carat gold nib writes with a
'medium' to 'broad' line. Ink filled by the gold lever on the barrel. The lever
is also decorated with the arrow feathers. Condition is excellent
and the nib writes smooth and graceful. Length: 5" - 5 7/8".
