PARKER VACUMATIC Slender Fountain Pen  Circa 1934.  Colour: Burgundy pearl.  Nib: 'Medium'. Stunning in its design and colours.  This is a 1st generation vacumatic as evidenced by its double jewels and the lockdown ink filling mechanism. The clip is of the arrow feather design.   Trim is gold filled.  Cap has a jewel and three gold bands.   The barrel is engraved with: "PARKER VACUMATIC, Made in Canada, PAT NO 3, REG TM".  The nib is engraved: "14K, PARKER VACUMATIC, REG TM, Made in Canada".  Filling is by the plunger beneath the short blind cap.  14 carat solid gold 'medium' nib.  The pen glides over the paper.  Excellent condition.  Length: 4 3/4" - 5 3/4" "Fresh in appearance - unique in performance."  - Parker advert. £120  ( $194  €134)                                                                                       Ref no: 100112-1
